Extensions Care Guide

Extensions require daily styling to blend seamlessly with your natural hair. You may need to use a blow dryer, round brush, flat iron, or curling iron depending on your desired look.

Always use a heat protectant before styling.

When using hot tools, focus on the mid-lengths and ends of your hair. Avoid applying heat near the top where your extensions are attached, as this can weaken the bonds and cause slipping.

When brushing, use a soft bristle or extension brush and start from the ends, working your way up while gently supporting the top of the hair to prevent tension.

Styling

Never sleep with wet hair. Always ensure your hair is completely dry before going to bed to prevent tangling and damage.

We recommend loosely braiding your hair or securing it in a low ponytail before sleep. Using a silk or satin pillowcase will help reduce friction and keep your hair smooth.

Sleeping

Wash your hair every 2–4 days using a professional, sulfate-free shampoo. Focus shampoo at the scalp and gently work it through the ends without scrubbing.

Condition from mid-length to ends, avoiding the top where your extensions are attached. Rinse thoroughly and gently squeeze out excess water, do not rub or twist the hair.

Cleaning

After washing, gently blot your hair with a towel. Apply a leave-in conditioner to help with moisture and manageability.

It is important to fully dry the top of your hair where the extensions are attached after each wash. This helps prevent irritation and keeps your extensions secure.

Drying

Chlorine and salt water can be harsh on extensions. Before swimming, wet your hair with clean water and apply a leave-in conditioner to help protect it.

Secure your hair in a low ponytail or braid to prevent tangling.

After swimming, rinse your hair as soon as possible and gently cleanse if needed to remove chlorine or salt.

Swimming

Using professional, extension-safe products is key to maintaining the quality and longevity of your hair.

We recommend sulfate-free shampoos, lightweight conditioners, leave-in treatments, and heat protectants. Avoid heavy oils, alcohol-based products, and excessive protein, as they can dry out or damage the hair over time.
